Rejuvenate the romance
Romance is something that, when taken for granted, can start to fade away. A relationship with no romance is like an empty shell. If the romance is dwindling in your relationship then the tips below can help you:
- Don’t take each other for granted - Romance is something that will not survive on its own. It needs input from both you and your partner. Once the initial buzz has gone, it is down to hard work to ensure that the romance does not fade away.
- Make time for one another - You need to make time to be with one another on a regular basis if things are to continue ticking over. Don’t just bring out the special treatment during anniversaries and such. Be spontaneous, and show that you care.
- Go on a date - Try setting a time each week, or, if that is not possible, once every two weeks, to go on a date. You can go out for a romantic meal, to the cinema or just have a night in on the couch. Make sure you treat it as a real date, or it will be a waste of time.
- Things too far gone? - Its never too late to start being romantic, no matter how down in the dumps your relationship may seem.
- Sex - Sex is a good way of expressing your love for one another. But do not make it a cheap event. Your partner needs to feel they are desired, and not just there to sate your sexual needs.
