Sexual & Relationship Therapy

Sexual and relationship therapy is provided by professionals known as psychotherapists or counsellors. Though their names may be different, their training and experience is relatively the same, and they will each be able to offer valuable advice and support. The point of sessions is for you to let go of your resentments and troubles in a productive manner. You will be given the chance to set goals, and then to achieve them at your own pace and as a team.

A session, in which you will be able to sit down with a counsellor and talk, typically last 50 minutes and you can choose whether you want to have weekly meetings, or some other arrangement. There will be instances when the session needs to be longer, and there may also be practical exercises you will need to conduct in your own time. Below, the structure of the sexual and relationship therapy process is discussed.
